Dear Parents,

I am so pleased to begin my sixth year as Principal of Lynwood Elementary School.  I look forward to continuing the work with our parents as partners.  It is only, by working together, parents, staff and students, that we can provide the best education for our children.

There are many ways to become involved at Lynwood.  We have a very active PTA (Parent Teacher Association), ELAC (English Language Advisory Committee) and School Leadership Team.  All meetings are open to the public.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer at school (as art docents, with SEEDS in our school garden, and special projects) and in classrooms (as room parents, regularly, and for school trips, special projects, etc.) Of course we strongly encourage you to attend the many events such as Back to School Night, Kermes Festival, International Dinner, Open House,  etc.  There is a calendar provided in the Handbook which highlights the many important events and activities planned for this year!

We know you will become an active member of our Lynwood school community. Stop in and say hello! I look forward to working with you all for the best education we can provide your child!
